Planning Approved for Grimsby Pyrolysis Plant

A plant that will break down tyre waste and create scores of jobs has received planning approval.

The tyre "pyrolysis" plant will have a 33m (108ft)-high chimney when it is built on four hectares of currently vacant land at Great Coates Business Park, off Energy Park Way, near Grimsby. Fluid Ice Family Office Ltd, the company behind the facility, is expecting to create around 50 full-time jobs and around 30 to 40 contract jobs.
